Each year, GGU awards two JD Flex entering students fellowships that include full-tuition scholarships and a $5,000 stipend to be used to complete an internship.
GGU Law Intellectual Property and Technology Fellowship
In each fall admissions cycle, a single student is selected as the GGU Law Intellectual Property and Technology Fellow. The recipient receives a full-tuition scholarship, including mandatory school fees, which they retain if they stay in good academic standing.
The Intellectual Property and Technology Fellow also receives a $5,000 stipend the summer after their 1L year, to be used to complete an internship in the area of their fellowship.
The recipient will possess an exemplary academic record and/or demonstrated academic or professional experience indicating a strong interest and potential in a career in intellectual property, technology, data privacy or a related field. The Fellow is paired with a faculty mentor throughout their time in law school and has unique access to employers and alumni in related fields.
How to Apply
To apply for the GGU Law Intellectual Property and Technology Fellowship, submit an essay in addition to the standard JD Flex application materials. GGU will review and consider your essay with the resume you submit as part of your JD Flex application.
In your essay, describe your background and experience, and explain your interest and potential in the Intellectual Property and Technology Fellowship. Your essay should be 12-point font, double-spaced, and should not exceed two pages. In your resume, list experience relevant to the fellowship.
Social Justice and Public Interest Fellowship
In each fall admissions cycle, a single student is selected as the GGU Law Social Justice and Public Interest Law Fellow. The recipient receives a full-tuition scholarship, including mandatory school fees, which they retain if they stay in good academic standing.
The Social Justice and Public Interest Law Fellow also receives a $5,000 stipend the summer after their 1L year, to be used to complete an internship in the area of their fellowship.
The recipient will possess an exemplary academic record and/or significant public service activities prior to coming to law school, indicating a strong interest and potential for a career in social justice advocacy, public interest law, or a related field. The Fellow is paired with a faculty mentor throughout their time in law school and has unique access to employers and alumni in related fields.
